These dogs might be lazy. Our team is anything but
Why a house full of dogs? We say, “Why not? Isn’t everything better with dogs?” Our founder, Troy Cono, has been working with and training dogs since he was old enough to remember. He even trained his own certified service animal, Wheatie, who became the inspiration for what has now evolved into Dogghouse Interactive.
Since transitioning to working 100% remotely in 2019, Troy has worked with local shelters and other non-profits in the Atlanta area to provide temporary, short and long term housing for more than 100 dogs. “I figured, I have the space for it, and now I don’t ever have to leave them during the day, so it’s an ideal scenario for these poor pups,” says Troy of opening up his home to our best friends in the animal world. “I build solutions for my clients all day while anywhere from 4–10 dogs at a time run around in my backyard until they wear themselves out, and then they come inside and sleep directly on top of me. It’s a pretty good life.”
Dogghouse Interactive vows to continue to use a portion of its proceeds to provide safe shelter and a better quality of life for dogs in need all over Metro Atlanta, and beyond. Build a website, help save a dog.

How does Dogghouse Interactive use AI?
We do not sell AI products. We use AI-assisted development (Cursor and similar tools) to design, write, and ship production software faster, with the same engineering bar we hold on every project. Humans review every pull request. The dogs do not.
